Heal and Prevent Breakouts with Our Natural Skin Acne Treatment.

Do you find it challenging to find skin care products and a skin acne treatment that actually works for your acne prone skin?

Often times with acne, breakouts can become so persistent that it seems like the only way to end the suffering is with a visit to the dermatologist.

There you are, prescribed with endless topicals or even pills that dry and strip your precious skin, causing redness and flakiness.

You become overly sensitive to the sun and next thing you know you’re seeing early signs of aging.

But hey, at least the breakouts are gone, right?

Wrong. With long-term use of medicine, side effects can blindside you. The result?

Other skin conditions like eczema, psoriasis or dermatitis are exacerbated; the acne strikes back in full swing because the cause was never cured but only “treated” temporarily, or your medications begin compromising your emotional well-being.

None of these results are anywhere near pleasant; in fact, they seem reckless when you really think about it.

What it all boils down to is that acne is more complex than you might think. There are several factors that contribute to the development of acne such as oily skin, diet, hormones and even using the wrong skin care products.

However, if acne is not being addressed externally (as well as internally), you may still find yourself experiencing this relentless skin condition.

When you try and treat skin conditions with harsh ingredients, you can end up with harsh results and likely, a very taxed complexion.

Skincare ingredients and your routine should be simple. After all, your skin is the armour that protects your temple — treat it with tender loving care!
Today, we’re going skin deep and showcase our products for a skin acne treatment for acne prone skin.

Our skin acne treatment product line was developed with oily-natured skin types in mind, which is the majority of skin types that suffer from acne.

If used consistently and in conjunction with a healthy lifestyle, these products have the potential to bring balance back to your skin, resulting in a clear and radiant complexion. Those results seem more positive than the former, don’t you agree?

Skin Acne Treatment –  Products for Acne Prone Skin

Annmarie’s skin care is simple skin care. All of our products are made by hand and synergistically formulated to target specific skin conditions using nutrient-dense and antioxidant-rich herbs and oils.

The herbs are selected with the utmost care because it’s not enough to use skin care that’s free of chemicals. It has to work.

Let’s take a look at the skin acne treatment product line:

Citrus Mint Cleanser

This cleanser is for you if you either wake up with that dewy glow (from your skin’s natural oils) or develop it on your complexion during the day — especially on the T-zone.

A shiny T (typically your forehead, nose, and chin) is an indication of excess sebum production in those areas. This happens because the T-zone has a higher amount of oil glands than the rest of the face.

Some people experience dry cheeks with an oily T-zone. In this case, you have normal/combination skin.

Our Citrus Mint Cleanser is suitable for both. As long as you are oily-natured, this blend of anti-bacterial herbs with oil-balancing properties has your back!
*Use morning and evening. Apply to damp skin, massage onto face and neck then rinse. Can be used before or in combination with one of our facial scrubs for an exfoliation treatment. (Our Dead Sea Scrub is not recommended for use on active acne breakouts).

Rosemary Toning Mist

Our Rosemary Toning Mist is simply a rosemary hydrosol, a distillate of rosemary. We create our hydrosols in small batches using steam. The fresh flowers or plant material are “brewed” with water in large pots, steam is introduced and fills the pot, and as the steam rises, the glands of the plant material begin to burst and release oils into the steam.

The oil is then collected as an essential oil, and the water left behind is your hydrosol.

Hydrosols are basically a by-product of essential oil production, containing all of the essences of the plant, but in a milder and easily usable form.

We chose rosemary hydrosol for our toner for oily and acne prone skin types because rosemary is known to have antibacterial, antimicrobial, purifying and invigorating properties. This medicinal mist is a must-try if you are looking to tone your oily skin!

*Spritz 2-3 pumps after cleansing and before applying treatment serum. Also can be used after applying facial oil to drive the oil deeper into the skin.

Anti-Aging Serum

A common question we get from customers is: “How can I prevent aging while treating acne prone skin?”

Some acne sufferers have a tendency to focus only on the current problem: their acne.

But what about preventative aging and nourishing the skin? Don’t we need to treat and heal?

Like we said before, it’s common for a dermatologist to give you harsh acne treatment products that strip away your skin’s barrier, causing premature aging.

So, you may end up with clear skin, but nonetheless, you’ve created another problem that needs addressing. Why not treat acne while providing your skin with valuable age-defying nutrients?

This is why our Anti-Aging Serum is a great addition to a skincare routine for an oily and/or acne prone skin care regimen.

This serum, with its potent antioxidant infusion, is surely a decadent indulgence for your skin.

High in lignans from flaxseed which supports cellular communication, your skin cells will feel alive and active.

Also, the hyaluronic acid in this serum holds up to 1000 times its weight in water, keeping your skin unbelievably hydrated.

Hyaluronic acid also has an anti-inflammatory component and is very soothing and calming to the skin which is beneficial for active breakouts.

*Use morning and evening. Apply 1-2 pumps after toning mist and before facial oil.

Herbal Facial Oil for Oily and Acne Prone Skin

When you have oily skin, it is generally because of a lack of hydration in the layers of the skin.

This causes your skin’s sebaceous glands to produce more oil to balance out your moisture levels. Excess sebum can cause oily skin as well as clogged pores.

By using oil, your skin will sense that moisture levels are more normalized and thus produce less sebum, bringing your skin surface back to equilibrium.
So if you have oily skin and are prone to acne, fine oils can penetrate deeper into the skin and deliver anti-bacterial and skin-enriching nutrients.

This is where we recommend our Herbal Facial Oil for Oily and Acne Prone Skin. With its slightly astringent blend of herbs to help eliminate bacteria on the skin and balance your sebaceous glands, this oily goodness will become a staple for your skin.

Oil-free products don’t sound too desirable now, do they?

*Use morning and evening. Apply 1-2 pumps (depending on your preference) after serum.
(Sun Love is encouraged for sun protection; apply in the mornings after this step)

Purifying Mud Mask

Alas, our Purifying Mud Mask absorbs excess oil and impurities in the skin, making it a wonderful facial clay acne treatment. Our favorite benefit of this mask is that it not only helps to purify the skin, but it also re-mineralizes it with mineral rich clay and chlorella algae — mmmm, how earthy!

Simply apply the mud all over, or spot treats congested areas, 1-3 times per week. You can also mix it with a few sprays of the Rosemary Toning Mist in place of water for a more purifying experience!

There you have it, folks! Our products for acne prone skin. We believe you can find the answer to your skin woes in nature, so we went ahead and bottled up nature for you.

While considering the right products to address the external causes for your acne, we suggest also taking a holistic approach and looking at what you’re putting into your body (sometimes the skin care products can only do so much!).

Sugars, excess fats (even good fats), soy, and dairy can all attribute to acne. These internal factors, or an existing condition, can create an imbalance between your hormones, gut flora and digestive system.

So, to start with what’s happening inside, try adding lots of leafy greens, probiotics and cultured veggies to your daily routine and see if that’s helpful.

If you remain consistent with a clean and healthy diet while using our products, you can achieve beautiful and blemish-free skin.
